Beginner Balance Progressions

Improving balance is something I think everyone should focus on no matter what their sport, fitness goal or age. A high number of injuries happen  through some form of falling where balance and strength training might have helped to prevent or reduce recovery time. It is also something that you can improve easily in your home without any equipment needed. There are three factors to balance that you want to progress through: being stable in one position, ability to move while staying balanced and being able to recover when you lose your balance to prevent falling.  Watch this video for ways that you can start today to progress your balance from the start before moving on to more complex balance exercises.
