The calf raise is one of the most common and effective exercises you can do to strengthen your calf muscle. Strong calf muscles are really important if you like to wear high heels, jump really high (or even just regular high) and walk up hills or stairs (bonus points if you do all three at once). Although the calf raise seems simple, there are some common mistakes people make that can be easily avoided. Of course fewer mistakes means stronger calf muscles and less time working out, win:win.
